This is why you should not drink too much wine or mead, Persephone.

…… Oh my… I did not know you wear ladies clothes, Snugglebug…

It seems that he is as fond of them as he is teddybears. *smirks*

Yes! Oh.. I shall get him a teddy bear! With a dress! So they can have matching outfits! Then he shall not be so mad.

Oh, I know the perfect one…*Smirks*

Uh… okay. Cool.

*small smile* I apologize, please disregard my strange wording. How do you fare on this fine eve?

Why exactly are you leaving now? *Seb looks confused* And Midgard? What is what?

Your clothes. I mean…not exactly normal.

It is what my people call your world… It is a long story, do not trouble yourself with it.

*blinks* My clothes..? They are strange..? I suppose I will have to change into something more Midgardian… I mean, more like what those on “Earth” wear. *frowns* I am surprised that is what you have chosen to comment on and not my appearance, I have heard that Midgardians are not fond of such things.

However I am not supposed to be having any kind of communication with you. Father thinks I will upset you and thus ruin what he has planned with Moriarty.

*Seb rolls his eyes* Moriarty can deal with his own things. He’s got a large network or people to carry out his plans.

I’m more interested in you and what you have to say. I mean..your daddy forbade us to speak? *He grins deviously* You’re very interesting.

*raises an eyebrow, smiling slightly* Oh? I am not a “sissyboy” now that you have noticed my gender and heard that my father dislikes me speaking with you? *shakes her head, amused* Though I suppose you could be interesting to speak with. Alright then, Sebastian, what shall we speak of?

I’m sorry. You were so rude at first and I didn’t know what to think of you. *He smiles, moving more into her personal space* Tell me more about this Helvetica place. Is it nice there? Why do you want to move down here with us Midi-whats-its? *he bites his bottom lip*

I do not believe that I was rude as you were threatening my father. To avoid a fight I shall pretend that you are not being completely foolish. *frowns* Helheim is the realm of the dead that I rule. I wish to come to your world so that I may assist my father with his revenge against Thor.

*pinches the bridge of his nose and closes his eyes* No my daughter, please do not misunderstand me; I meant only that you should wait until I can instruct you on how to communicate with mortals. You will not be hidden away again, I promise. And it seems that no harm has been done. I do look forward to your arrival, my daughter.

((OOC: no problem! Glad to help. Yeah, that tripped me up too when I first started. Happens to everyone, I think. XD ))

If all of them are like Moran then I have a feeling most of your instructions will be to bite my tongue. As I said before, I shall do my best.

*he chuckles* do not worry, my daughter. There are many who are like Moran, but it is not impossible to talk to them. One must simply know how to do so, and that I can teach you easily enough.

*small smile* I would like that very much. I am excited all that you are willing to teach me. Now I simply have to find a way to you that will not cause an incident…

That is no matter at all. If I can smuggle two Jotunn into Asgard, then I can certainly smuggle you into Midgard. Simply inform me when you are ready to leave.

That was rather impressive. *smile grows* I will take care of my business tonight and prepare for the trip to Midgard. Is there anything that I should bring..?

A quick look at home… I wonder if I should truly leave it, especially with the unease I suddenly feel about Midgard…

rulerofhelheim replied to your post: I would prefer if you did not threaten my father. I would hate to show you what an angry Norse Goddess can do to a very fragile Midgardian.

I do not find your remarks to be very amusing… Perhaps your tune will change when my father does something horrifying to you or when you die and come into my realm.

Oi, you a sissy boy then? Got his daddy to come take care of him. Widddle sissy boy. Inn’t that cute?

"Sissy boy"…? I believe that this is a Midgardian phrase that I am not used to. *Frowns* I am not a "boy" nor am I a "sissy". I am Hel, ruler of the underworld, caretaker of those who do not find their way into Valhalla, and the queen of Helheim. And you are a silly little Midgardian child who does not know royalty when they see it.

If there are already people on Midgard who look like this then perhaps I can one day visit without incident…

My brothers and I. Sometimes I wonder what Jormungandr used to eat, then I realize that thinking of such is a bad idea.

thedailygoddess:

Hel

Mythology: Norse
Goddess of: Death
Name means: “the Hidden”
Representations: hail
Hel was cast into the Underworld by Odin (because of a prophecy that she and her brothers could mean great harm for him). In thanks for ruling the Underworld, Hel gave Odin his two Ravens “Huginn” and “Muninn” (thought and Memory, respectively), as they are considered messengers between this world and the afterlife. Her realm is named after her, and as such is called Helheim and it is not only her job to take in the souls of the dead, but she is also the one that decides what happens to them in the afterlife. The “bad” are cast to the land of the frozen dead, while the good are taken care of. Her realm is also the place where souls go to be reincarnated. She is especially known for being there for women who die in childbirth, and as such she is a guardian of children. Imagery for Hel have been described as half dead, half alive. Her face is generally half in darkness and half in light.
It is interesting that she stands for a time of simultaneous endings and beginnings.
